The Fielder Health Network was created to help students address the many requirements that medical, dental, and other graduate schools require to have a competitive application.
Why the network exists
Most guidance in the pre-health track is oftern generic, informal, and unevenly distributed. Students are often unsure which clinical hours actually count, when a gap year helps rather than hurts, and what a secondary essay is really asking. Students without proper mentprs often find out too late.
The Fielder Pre-Health Network was built to close that gap deliberately. Rather than running one-off panels or a question forum, the network commits mentors and students to a sustained relationship, then supports it with structure — scheduled check-ins, a shared timeline, and coordinators who step in when a pairing stalls.
What we provide
A network of competent pre-professional and professional menotors who provide guidance free of charge.
What makes up the network?
- Student Mentors
A current pre-health upperclassman who has completed adequate course work, their respecitve pre-professional exam (MCAT, GRE, DAT), and other standout extracurriculars. These individuals are application ready and our boots on the ground experts.
- Graduate Students
A current medical, dental, or other professional degree student who grew through this network and seeks to give back.
- Clinician Mentor
A practicing physician or dentist. Speaks to specialty selection, what daily clinical work looks like beyond the shadowing hours, and the longer arc of a career after training ends.

Our network is a service we are eager to provide for free. We never intend to take any form of payment.
What the network is not
Fielder does not review applications on behalf of any school, does not guarantee admission, and does not offer paid advising services. Mentors volunteer their time and speak from their own experience rather than on behalf of an institution.
